"The root cause of a lot of the problems in politics is hardness of the heart. Music and the light that goes with it is the best thing to thaw that out." — Bono

by John S.

I thought the show was pretty cool. The electric co. was the best song of the night. The Edge did a great job on guitar and Adam (Clayton) did good on bass. My 2nd favorite was where the streets have no name. The flags of all of those countries - - wow! Bono pulled 2 little girls out of the audience and asked their name and Bono told them "my name is paul, but people call me Bono". I assume they had the night of their lives (it sure looked like it). My third favorite was One. Everybody texted in to the ONE campaign at Bonos request. How cool? the last song "40", rocked the house down, considering people kept on singing HOW LONG TO SING THIS SONG long after the lights came up. They did it in the lobby of the Wachovia Center and in the parking lot. I am 10 years old and this was my 2nd U2 show. I saw them in 2001 and that was AWESOME too! running to stand still was cool, having stories on the big video screens about World War II veterans. There were 2 kids behind us and they knew the words to every U2 song. I thought that was cool. Although they didn't play Gloria, my favorite, i give it a 10 if i were judging. So thats my concert review.
