"But it wasn't the songs that were the attraction. It was the energy and commitment to performance that were fantastic even then. Bono would run around looking for people to meet his eyes." — Paul McGuinness, on U2's early days

As noted, technical difficulties announced before start creating a small delay. Crowd showed anticipation and some buzz for the show as start time neared. Thought setlist was good and had mix of current songs and some classics. Would have liked to heard more “rareties” thrown in. Thought the setlist might have been a bit play it safe mode with I Will Follow, Gloria, Pride, Vertigo, Elevation . But, once they start playing them, it’s all good. As good as some other war horses are, it was good to set some aside for a bit. Show had good energy. Band was tight and sounded great. Bono’s voice sounded much stronger than JT tour (Louisville and Detroit). Best song of show was Acrobat. Edge’s solo in Acrobat was fantastic. Other real nice highlight was The Ocean leading into Iris. SBS and Cedarwood Road were carbon copies from Innocence tour. Keep it up with new material and deeper cuts, and don’t become a greatest hits nostalgia band. I’m not ready for that yet from the boys. But, ticket prices have to be reeled in a bit. $100-150 range is my persosnal limit so I sat in the upper bowl, $325 is just too much.
