"Our music is not something to lie down to, to get out of to, to die to, to commit suicide to. It's not a soundtrack to a nervous breakdown." — Bono

by Chrissy

A longtime fan, last night was my first experience seeing U2 live. I've heard a lot of people disagree with the band coming out onstage with the lights on. I for one thought it was an act of intimacy that further connected the band with the fans. Among my favorites were Kite, Gone, and Stay. It seemed like the band were totally into Sunday Bloody Sunday. The tribute to Joey Ramone before In A Little While was very heartfelt and touched many of the fans. The encore(s) were unbelieveable--Wake Up Dead Man was a complete surprise! All in all, the show was one that will be imprinted on my mind forever (at least until I see them next time).
