"He's the type of person who'll hit you in the ass and get you going. It doesn't make you a lot of friends, but it's a great ability to have." — Adam, on Bono

by Canadian

This was my second show of the tour. My first time in June in Calgary. This show was by far the better of the two. It seemed as though the band was really into it, Bono and the Edge were all over the place. Bono went off a couple of times on his little rants. During I Will Follow, he talked about how we (the fans) have changed them and returned them back to their old ways. Before Please he talked about how that song was written about the problems in his own country but it now seemed relevant in the USA.
The set list was amazing! I did not miss WOWY one bit. A personal highlight for me was Pride, which they did not play in Calgary. It was the first time I had heard my all-time favorite song live and it was unreal. As always, Streets was like a religious experience. It was a real treat to hear Wild Honey also. The Edge should definently sing more!
The only downside (if there could be one) was the croud in my section. We had awfull seats behind the stage and most of the croud were sitting. The people next to me left before the first encore. Their loss I guess.
In all it was a great weekend in Vegas and was well worth the trip all the way from Edmonton. Hopefully I won't have to wait four years to do it all again.
