[M]eeting the fans and being a man of the people -- I'm not very good at it." -- Larry

by charlie

I had great expectations for this show and I was not let down. The staging was amazing. My husband bought last minute tickets for us to have a date night and was worried I would be upset being behind the stage. I assured him not to worry and once the skies darkened a bit he understood why. He had never been to a show of that magnitude... and I don't think he was disappointed.

Florence and the Machine were very good. It is refreshing to see actual "live talent." Neither of those things can be used very often in this lip synching world. She looked beautiful and sang like an angel.

It's always a pleasure to see U2 on the stage! the engergy was great, the staging made the space seem much more personal (which I know was the point), the screens made even the farthest seating fan feel part of the action. The band always does a great job of including songs from the entire span of their career. I was like a 12 year old at a boy band concert during most of the show.
