[W]e have a bass player called Adam Clayton who is the only bass player you would miss if he wasn't there. -- Bono

Wow, still recovering from the aweful show I saw. I love U2. Don't get me wrong. I think they are great, but tonight the show was not all that great. This is my fourth time seeing them in Europe and I thought this show was not any good. For me, the setlist has been the same and I was not particularly fond of it. Secondly, I hate to say it, but Bono's movements on stage are so predictable. You know where he is going to go at each song. You know what kind of technique or gimmic is coming up next. As they opened with Vertigo, I was saying to myself: "OK, this is when Bono turns right, this is when he makes his way for the cat walk." I understand that set lists need to remain the same for the band, but what about where he goes on stage? That upset me. This was probably the hardest thing I had to write as I admire U2 greatly, but I am being honest. I will see them again and again, but I was just disappointed in tonight's show.
