I'm not sure I can be as honest in my life as I can be in my music, because with manners comes insincerity. Truth is sometimes difficult.-- Bono, 2004

by Michel on U2 360° tour

What a great day before the stadium. We arrived around 5am and teamed up with the other dutchies with the "the dutch will follow" flags (i guess there were at least 4 flags.
At 17h30 the gates opened and we run towards the pit. The gates to the pit where still closed and we were yelling that the other entrance to the pit was alreadt openend. We ended up at in the golden circle standing next to the catwalk.
Didn't like Interpol. U2 came on and it was a hell of a party. Bad was definitely THE song of the night with another "singing in the rain" snippet in the middle. Also the angel of harlem song was a suprise. Last time I heard it was at one of the Amsterdam shows in 2009. Great performance (still after seeing U2 9 times this show). Of course "crazy" was a party. Bono, Edge, Larry and Adam playing right in front of me for the first time. The other 8 shows I stood at the front row in the pit.
The rain was pouring from the sky but it didn't bother us and U2 to throw up a party. I think the U2 360 raincoats where the bestseller of the night!
Lots of highlites and lots of great pics. I will try to post them later on. Thanks U2 for giving me 9 superb concerts and this one is the final one for this European leg.
