"Rock and roll loves its juvenilia, its caricatures, its cartoons. The protest singer, the pop star, the sex god, your mature messiah types." — Bono inducting Bob Marley into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

by Stephanie

I have never been to a U2 show but have been an avid fan all my life. Since buying my tickets in late 2009 and waiting for U2 to finally return to Denver, this has been a much anticipated event for me. I was not disappointed.

I have to say that this show was not only the best musical experience I have ever had, it was a spiritual experience as well. Hearing classics such as "Pride (In the name of love)" and "With or Without You" mixed with newer songs and snippets of unreleased songs was just the start. The lights, the energy, Bono in a red-flashing jacket, The Edge's uncomparable playing, Adam being announced a father, the video from the Burmese president - all combined into something supernatural. I will hold this night in my memory forever.

Here is a picture of the stage being lit only with cell phones during "Moment of Surrender" which Bono dedicated to the 360 crew.
