"All the stuff we use is always serial number 001. The first time they create this type of technology, it's U2 that uses it. Then everybody else under the sun goes out and gets it." — U2 concert tour stage manager Rocko Reedy

I was a bit surprised at how subdued Bono was. This would have been a perfect time for him and Edge to show their sense of humor, but it was in short supply. It was nice to hear "Man and a Woman" live, especially with Edge's Mac Book Pro drum beat. It felt a bit Wedding-bandish, but somehow charming at the same time.

During their set I noticed something I have never seen before at a U2 concert. People were exiting the venue. Not the people in the back, but the people down front. The audience was brightly lit enough that I'm sure Bono and Edge could see what was happening. Gotta love the LA crowd. Always bored to tears, but wanting to be up front to be seen.
