"I might be a hero on stage, but off-stage I'm an anti-hero." — Bono

by Reverend Nathanael John Dabney

This was my fourth U2 show, and my first ever on the floor and the ellipse. It was amazing to be in front row of a band playing you have been listening to pretty much your whole life. The set list was absolutely perfect, and the best one that I have heard on the tour. Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry were at the top of their game and the humility and talent shown on stage was the best I have ever seen. Meaning there was absolutely nothing over done, and of course little Jacob screaming no more nearly knocked Bono off his feet in joy. I remember looking and watching Bono at that moment and it seemed that moment made his whole career worth it. Then greeting them when they arrived and waving them off backstage was very memorable. I tried to give Bono my favorite rosary beads to put on his microphone stand but he let me keep them. This show was the sweetest thing. Merry Christmas!
