"We grow up with this rather juvenile idea that people who are not like us don't get it — the suits don't get it — but it doesn't make sense anymore. Sometimes the enemy is your own indifference." — Bono

The last time I saw U2 in Hartford was the The Joshua Tree tour. Although this tour was louder and the HD screens were amazing, I liked that old show better, maybe it was before U2 was the global superstar act they have become. The set list was good and they played alot of Beatles songs. I was hoping for a couple U2 Christmas songs but they only sang the John Lennon 'War is Over' song. I was in section 101 and the crowd did seem to stand almost the entire concert. I don't like the 2 encores, play your setlise and then do one of two songs. I don't know who came up with the idea of saying goodbye 3 times, by th eend of the show I was ready to leave. A good concert but not great.
