--------------------------------------------------------------

It was simply an awesome show. I have complained about the Vertigo played twice thing, to be fair I might have been wrong, its hard to complain when your there. One thing is though, the second Vertigo is soo good it makes the first one look poor.
The atmosphere and reception for every song was amazing, from old songs to new. Wild Horses was a stunning surprise, and it was performed with soo much passion and energy, it was probably the best song of the night. But then again, you get City Of Blinding Lights which is a site to behold when its live.
Miracle Drug made me very emotional, I have always loved it and tonight, again it was top notch. The band were inch perfect, not one mistake.

Alot has to be said about the Love And Peace/ Sunday / Bullet combo.. its like a triple blow from Mike Tyson (when he was 21). Bono was even good at drumming on LAPOE !

I am 21 years old, I've seen U2 3 times now, other two being a double header of Elevation in 2001, I missed PopMart and was too young for ZooTV, but this whole show was like a tribute to those tours, particularly ZooTV during tonights encore. I love Zoo Station from the Sydney video, I have always wanted to see it but thought I never would, I got it tonight, including the fabulous image of Bono on the big screen kicking the air to the drum beat. Unreal. The Fly followed with similar images and slogans from 1992/3.
Running To Stand Still was a lovely addition, gorgeous song, one of U2's best ever, and live its brilliant, but dragged down abit by the Human Rights video at the end, but adding a verse of Walk On was a highlight.

The whole show was the best, but if I was being extremely picky, I'd One was probably the least interesting song of the whole set. It dosent have the same impact live anymore. But it wouldnt be right if One wasnt played.

The lighting and stage were fantastic. Although, the lighting was abit disappointing for Streets, there isnt a red screen or big flash or lights at the beginning, they save it for the end. Bit of a shame as its the best moment in live music history for me and they didnt do it!

The support bands (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club & Interpol) were garbage, dreary and dull rock. My own band could have done a hellova lot better. The sound for U2 was pretty good for a stadium, although Bono's vocals werent very clear and on top of a roaring crowd, it was hard to hear him, but then you know what he's singing cos you know the words.

Bono also said the band were excited about their future, so no signs of quitting, so for all the folk who missed this tour, dont worry they arent done yet.

Anyone going to the Dublin shows is in for a big big show. Enjoy!
