It's in U2's great rhythm section that the band finds its sexuality and its dangerousness. -- Bruce Springsteen, at U2's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction

WHAT MORE CAN BE SAID! This show was U2 at their best...Bono, The Edge, Adam & Larry came out with vengence. How many times did we saw this on Larry's face: never seeing this enlightment he was displaying. Also, how else could you get 18,000 fans to scream, sing along, pump fists and at some momemts making Peace Signs for some 2 hours ++. The encores took our voices away - THE FLY, UTEOTW, OOC, WOWY, ABOY, OOTS & BAD/40 - I believe I've found the higher power!

I believe we all saw U2 history when we sang "How long are we to sing this song" acapella for those 3 or 4 minutes after the boys left the stage. I can't help but wonder what Bono, The Edge, Adam & Larry were thinking at this point. I know we saw THE BEST SHOW EVER and they must have thought they delivered the same!

I heard rumors that The Edge periodically reads this website and if he does, this goes out to the him and boys from Dublin: "You don't have to campiagn anymore to be best rock and roll band in the world; YOU ARE! And please remember, Boston will always be your second home to the time the last lyric is sung, the last chord is strummed, the last bass note is hit, and of course (in the ways of "40"), the last tap of the bass drum. You ask how long are we to sing this song? Forever.
