"I had two days of glory when I was tellin' people what to do. Then Bono came in and that was the end." — Larry

by Bob M

Wow, what a show. This is my 6th U2 show, 1 ZooTV indoor, 2 ZooTV outdoor, 2 PopMart. Going into last night, the ZooTV outdoor broadcast at Foxboro Stadium July 1st 1992, had been my favorite show. I was in high school during Joshua, and wasnt able to get tickets, so I cant compare. But since then I refuse to miss a show.

This is my new favorite concert. I havent felt this much energy since Woodstock 99, and that took 250,000 people (the music, not the riots). This equaled it. Bono did hold back a little but thats ok, he still sang with all the emotion we are so used to seeing and hearing. The Edge, Larry and Adam, were flawless as usual. I cant say they played everything I wanted to hear because we would be there all night (that wouldnt be such a bad thing), but I cant see how anyone would leave disappointed. I am still on a U2 high.

I got my tickets through Propaganda and was in Loge 3, Row 1 (about 25 feet from the tip of the heart, 1st row on the side. These were the infamous golden circle seats. No complaints, Knowing what I know, I would have requested general admission especially after seeing the room available on the floor. This is nothing like other general admission floor shows where people are crowded like sardines, plenty of room.

Im still pumped and cant wait for Wednesdays show. See you there.
