I hear so many songwriters describe their songs as their children. . . . They're your parents, they tell you what to do. -- Bono

Saw the boys coming out of the the Four Seasons for their departure to the show. When a female admirer on the receiving line asked Bono for a kiss he politely declined, stating (in a gruff voice) that he had "a bit of the of the flu". I wanted to mention this after reading some of the other reviews here mentioning Bono's voice being "off".
Anyway, regardless of the flu the show was incredible. Bono was as energetic as I've ever seen him (at one point doing a full speed lap around the heart shaped catwalk). The Boston crowd was amazing as usual. I'm happy to see the the band being the focus of the show again.
I thought Where the Streets Have No Name was the song of the night. The roof seemed ready to blow off. I also appreciated the Rattle and Hum-esque Bullet the Blue Sky with Bono shooting the spotlight around the arena.
My only regret was that they didin't pull out a surprise like Party Girl. I was waiting for one song like that but it didn't happen.
All in all, best U2 show in a long time.
