"There's nothing wrong with catching the subway in New York — you don't have to get a stretch limo." — Adam

by Darren McCaul

What an incredible gig. This was the fourth time i have seen them but was easily the best. Everything came together perfectly, the setlist, the performance, the crowd, the atmosphere, the stage. They flew through the first four songs without saying much, all off the new album, and all were recieved well, but it was beautiful day that really got the show going. From this point on, the crowd were going nuts, responding well to the band. The acoustic version of stuck in a moment was truely breath taking, and one of the best acoustic versions of any song ever, Bono sounded amazing. The light show really started on Unforgetabble fire, and the stage came into its own from there on. Of the old songs, Ultra Violet and bad were amazing, but the show stopper was crazy tonight. Croke park nearly bounced out of its foundations. On a personal level i was glad there was no Unknown caller as i am not fussed on the song at all. Overall 10 out of 10, this will be hard to top.
