"Never wear a jacket and your guitar at the same time. Ya know, it's just not a good look. But cool hats are good." — Edge, offering a fashion tip for guitarists

Amsterdam Arena 15/07/2005 Vertigo 2005

The show was really great, another unforgettable night in my life with U2, thank you!
The sound was very good and the band seemed to be in really good shape, Bono had a great voice up to the end and the final "Vertigo" was even better then the opening one.
The lights show and the big screen was simply amazing, it was even better when totally dark but unfortunally this happened around 2220.
I really enjoyed City of Blinding Lights (very nice beginning when the crowd was singing "I still haven't found what I am looking for"). The 50000 of the Arena where amazing when they were singing "OH YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL TONIGHT!!!". Very nice live it was also "Love and Peace" where Bono ended playing the drum. Outstanding were also the older "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "Where the Streets have no name". I really enjoyed the message of Bono with his "bandana" rappresenting the Muslim, Jewish and Cristian religions, it was really touching when all the crowd screamed "NO MORE!!!" during Sunday Bloody Sunday (thinking also about the tragic bombing in London few days ago).
Excellent were also The Fly and Zoostation with the screens "Zooropa Tour Style".
Amazing the final "Vertigo". The selection and order of the songs was perfect.
I could write a lot more, I just would like to say thanks U2 to give me so many emotions with your songs!
