"Bono, the Mother Teresa of abandoned songs, compassionately continues arguing the case for every single idea that has ever experienced even the most transitory existence." — Brian Eno

by Huckleberry

Tonight showed why U2 comes 3 times in a row to a country this small and attends a venue the size of 50.000+ people.
The Dutch crowd just loves U2 and vise versa.
It was very very hot in the terrible ArenA. With a closed roof the infamous predictions about the sound were bad. But....it turned out quite alright. Being in the stand it was a good sound, comparable to the Berlin show.
From the first moment on the crownd went mad. Very much participation, very much energy, very much showing appreciation. This is what a U2 concert is all about. Everybody going home after 2+ hours, all burned up thinking what a great show it was. U2 were enjoying themselves the evening. All in all it was a good show with no problems and yet another try by the Edge to get a different solo right for Bullet The Blue Sky. It turned into a crossover between the original solo and the solo from the Popmart and Zoo TV tours.

The show ended in the second Vertigo which might have been the loudest participating crowd during the tour so far.

Come back anytime U2!
