"I don't find interviews easy. All the introspection involved isn't good for you." — Edge

Wow!!! What an incredible show this was. We saw U2 in Vegas and it was awesome, but this show in Phoenix topped Vegas. We got to AWA around noon to ensure that we would make it into the heart. The GA line was much more organized than back in April. Everything went smoothly and we got into the heart. No Doubt is a great band to see live. They played with lots of energy and got the crowd pumped up. They are a much better opening act than PJ Harvey. We thought it was cool that right before U2 came on, Tony from No Doubt came down into the heart. He was a cool guy. Then about 3 songs into U2's set, Gwen and Adrian came down into the heart. I couldn't believe how cool it was to be standing about 2 feet from them. Gwen was cool by signing autographs for fans coming up to her. I didn't want to bother her, as it seemed they were there to enjoy the show. She then left about 10 minutes before she did her duet with Bono. U2 was really on tonight. They seemed to have plenty of energy. In God's Country is one of my favorite songs and I was thrilled to hear it acoustic. All I Want Is You was another cool surprise. Like people have said in reviews earlier, Bono really loves Phoenix. He says that all the time when he comes here (I know he doesn't say it in every city). It was also cool to see Bono pull the girl from SLC up on stage and play a song with her. He also brought two little girls on stage during Walk On. The girls knew the words and you could see them signing along with Bono. I can't wait for them to come back.
