"The word suggests his shape, his vibe. There was a hearing-aid shop, Bonovox of O'Connell Street. I thought he looked like the place." — Guggi, on the origins of Bono's name

by Justin Duarte

Right off the bat I have to say that this was the best concert I have ever seen and maybe will ever see. This was my first U2 concert experience and let me tell you they made one hell of an mark. The build up to "Elevation" was great, the band took to the stage waving, Bono jumping then Edge cranking out that intro. The crowd knew every word to every song the enitre night, with an exception to "Stay". A few of my personal hightlight's were, a touching and electric performance of "Until The End Of The World" in which Bono picked this one girl in the middle of the floor. She had been waving at him on her boyfriend's shoulders. So Bono made an extra effort to get to her. Even some of the crowd helped pulling both their hands together. It was so cool, and afterward Bono turned and walked backwards waving goodbye to her. The other highlight was a beautiful version of "Kite". That was superior even to the album version. And finally during "Where The Street Have No Name" the crowd and Bono were so into it that Bono began running laps around the heart with his hands in the air which drove everyone crazy. So all in all the band was brilliant, the show was amazing and I was very lucky to see it.
