Playing with Paul McCartney. Having that opportunity, something that for me personally, I just. . . . It's like unimaginable. It's like goosebumps. -- Larry, at Live 8, 2005

All of you die hard rock n rollers who failed to show up in Jacksonville last night, bend over and kick yourself in the behind. Despite the frequent rain showers, 20,000 brave souls and fans of U2, were treated to a rock orgy. Bono showed why he still is one of the best vocalists and the Edge, with his solo effort on Sunday, Bloody Sunday, surprised and electrified the damp crowd.

The stage and lighting added to the atmosphere, as well as the spinning lemon. The blend of the old and refreshing new left the crowd pleased and fulfilled, asking where was everybody and why didn't they show up? Bono jokingly asked, "those of you in the back, can you hear us?...both of you." Despite the small gathering, U2 spared no expense in entertaining those in attendance, hammering out old standbys: Even Better Than the Real Thing, Still Haven't Found What I'm looking For, and the new, Mofo (what an entrance) and Last Night on Earth. The band played for two hours, well worth the price of admission.

To seal the concert ending, the band played "Rain" by the Beatles, an appropriate ending to a wet and exciting night, a night that I will never forget.
