"You should never work with people who are your fans, is my opinion. I knew he didn't, I knew he wasn't a fan of us, it was one of the reasons we got to work with him." — Bono, on Brian Eno

Comments: Tonight's audience includes Brian Eno -- who gets a couple shout-outs during the show, including "Brian Eno right in front of you" during "Beautiful Day" -- and Jimmy Page, whose presence prompts a "Black Dog" snippet late in the show.

"Get On Your Boots" is snippeted for the first time, as Bono sings "let me in the sound" a couple times in between "Volcano" and "Every Breaking Wave."

The band reportedly rehearses "Two Shots Of Happy, One Shot Of Sad" before the show, but that song isn't played tonight. Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday, were he still alive, would be December 15th of this year, so it's possible the band is rehearsing/recording the song for some kind of special tribute.
