Comments: While introducing the band during "The Electric Co," Bono thanks Larry for pinning a note on the bulletin board at Mt. Temple Comprehensive School in Dublin -- a note that led to U2's first meeting in Larry's kitchen 39 years ago today. Bono references the 39-year anniversary a couple times later in the show, too.

As usually happens, a fan comes on stage during "Mysterious Ways." But rather than a lucky young lady, this time it's a guy who's dressed in full MacPhisto regalia.

Bono dedicates "Every Breaking Wave" to his old friend, Reggie Manuel, who drove him to Larry's house for the band's first meeting in 1976. Bono says he didn't want to go, but Reggie made sure to take him.
