"We may well be the future of rock 'n' roll, but so what? When I go back to Dublin, to my girlfriend it's more of a distraction that I'm in a band than any big deal — and my old man shouts at me for not doing the dishes before I go to bed." — Bono, 1982

Comments: This is the last American show of the year, and the last of the second leg of the October tour. Bono is very talkative throughout, and adds/improvises quite a few lyrics into the songs.

The show is broadcast on the radio by WLIR-FM.

"Westminster Quarters" refers to the traditional melody used by clock bells to denote quarter-hour increments. The Edge plays the melody for the half-hour chime on album version of "11 O'Clock Tick Tock," but he also played it during "The Ocean" on many October tour dates.
