I'm a guy with no mid-range. I'm all bottom and all top, emotionally. -- Bono

U2 Set List: New Orleans, September 14, 2017

"We must stay awake to dream—even in God's Country," said Bono as the band made their one stop in Louisiana tonight on The Joshua Tree Tour 2017.

Although the opening set and album play-through didn't diverge from the usual, fans were treated to some new snippets tonight. A surprising portion of "Drunk on a Plane" by Dierks Bentley was sung near the end of "Beautiful Day" and a rousing refrain of "The Saints Are Coming" appeared at the end of and after "Vertigo," as the crowd continued chanting it even after the music stopped. U2 initially performed that song with Green Day in September, 2006 at the re-opening of The Superdome following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina the previous year.

They also traded in their usual "One" finale for "I Will Follow," and afterward Bono claimed that was the first time ever that The Edge used a Fender Stratocaster to play that song.

Next up: St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday.
