"You can't change the world..." — Adam, responding to a question about "one truth that isn't true"

U2 Set List: Copenhagen, Sept. 29, 2018

The Experience + Innocence tour resumed in Copenhagen, Denmark, tonight after a week-long hiatus. The setlist resembled the previous stops on the European tour with "All Because Of You" in the fourth song slot on the set list.

The Danish audience had a surprise for the band during "Beautiful Day" as the arena became the flags of Denmark  and Ireland, and our friends at U2Tour.de shared the experience on Instagram. Bono said after the tune, "Look at you! Fly your flag! Beautiful! What a picture! That's a beautiful flag right there."

MacPhisto’s chat with the audience ahead of "Acrobat" focused on Denmark's changing attitudes toward asylum seekers. He said, "MacPhisto at your service. Denmark, I thought I've really gone off you. I had forgotten about your splendid colonial ways. But I see you're finding your own form. … You're banning burkas and confiscating jewelry from those asylum seekers. Bravo. Bra-f***ing-oh."

Tonight’s chat with Ali before "You’re the Best Thing About Me" was quite tender, especially given that she was at the show. "Hi Darlin'. It's me again. Forgive me for talking about our love in front of other people... I really loved waking up beside you this morning, then going for lunch. It's a sexy city, Copenhagen. Sexy European city. We should come here when I'm not working. I knew you before I knew anything about the world. You promised that you'd get me through it before you could ever know how hard that promise would be to keep. I know. I know. See you after for a drink," Bono said.

Up next: a second night in Copenhagen tomorrow.
