U2 adds 2nd Mexico City show; also Baltimore?

@U2, October 01, 2010
By: Matt McGee / @mattmcgee is sending out e-mails to paid members with news that the band will play a second concert in Mexico City next year. It's set for May 15, 2011, a day after the previously announced Mexico City show. The e-mail says that members will have a presale starting tomorrow, October 2nd, at 11:00 am, and continuing until Monday, October 4, at 11:00 am. Public ticket sales begin Wednesday, October 6, also at 11:00 am.

But ... there seems to be some confusion on this. The e-mail links to a news story on that was previously posted at and has since been removed. [UPDATE: The link/story is now active again, and Mexico City 2 is confirmed.] As of this moment, the official tour page also doesn't list a second Mexico City show. Here's a screenshot of the e-mail I received a short while ago.

As if all that's not confusing enough, also seems to have indirectly announced a concert in Baltimore next year on June 22, 2011. That show also doesn't appear on the official tour page, but in this news story about U2 possibly playing Glastonbury, says "there is a gap in the band's schedule between the Baltimore show on June 22nd and East Lansing show on June 26th." Here's a screenshot of that:

Baltimore radio stations reported this morning that U2 will play Ravens Stadium next year with Florence and The Machine opening. Seems like that rumor has been pretty much confirmed.

UPDATE: Since our article was published, has edited the story above to remove the reference to Baltimore getting a show on June 22.
