"I think this record is just as innovative as Pop, it's just that the thing we're pushing to the forefront is the chemistry of the band playing together, and I think that is why people are referring back to earlier projects."

Bono to appear on Jimmy Kimmel's (RED) auction next week

Jimmy Kimmel RED auction

Bono will be back on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! next week for another (RED) auction in support of World AIDS Day. It's happening next Tuesday night, November 22, during Kimmel's regularly-scheduled broadcast time, which is typically right after your local ABC news (11:35 pm ET, etc.). Bono's involvement is still vague at this point -- per the Facebook event page, it could be an appearance or maybe a performance.

Ahead of World AIDS Day, December 1, the second annual (SHOPATHON)RED launches on November 22nd – jam-packed with winnable celebrity experiences and hundreds of products that fight AIDS with (RED).

It all kicks off tonight on a special (RED) takeover of ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! (11.35ET/10.35CT) with surprise guests and special performances from Bono, Julia Roberts, Channing Tatum, Kristen Bell, DJ Khaled, Neil Patrick Harris, Halsey and the Killers.

Tune in and get ready to SHOP (RED) SAVE LIVES for the holidays.

The bet is here is that it's just an appearance, which is what Bono did last year during the first (RED) auction on Kimmel's show. He also helped auction a bike ride through Central Park as part of last year's auction; no word yet what Bono-related experience might be up for bids this year.
