What do U2 fans think in 2005?

In November, 2005, as part of our @U2 @10 celebration, @U2 conducted its first U2 Fan Survey in an attempt to learn what U2 fans online think about a variety of topics and questions related to U2 and U2 fandom.

We asked more than 100 questions in 8 categories, and accepted survey replies via the QuestionPro web site. The survey was open for the entire month of November. We advertised it here on @U2 for the first 15 days and then on other web sites and mailing lists for the rest of the month.

We ultimately received 4,106 completed surveys -- a high enough number that we feel confident in saying these survey results are an accurate statistical portrayal of U2's online fan community. Thanks to everyone who participated.
