What Would You Ask Neil McCormick?Plus, Have You Bought Your Sunday Movie & Shuttle Yet?
@U2,
September 29, 2009
On Sunday night I'll be hosting our "Sunday Night at the (3D) Movies with Neil McCormick" event - it's the final event of a great weekend and wraps up the U2 academic conference. We'll watch U2 3D at the Wachovia IMAX Theatre, and then I'll sit down with Neil McCormick for a live conversation inside the theater. Neil is the author of Killing Bono: I Was Bono's Doppelganger and collaborated with U2 to write the band's official biography, U2 by U2. He's known the band since their days together at Mt. Temple Comprehensive in Dublin. What should I ask Neil? I have some ideas in mind, but I'd love to include your questions, too. Send me an email via this page and I'll bring the best questions with me to our Sunday night conversation. (We'll also ask for audience questions at the theater.) By the way, even if you're not attending the conference, you're welcome to join us on Sunday night! Start at our event information page, where you'll find links to buy U2 3D movie tickets online in advance (highly recommended, so you're guaranteed a seat) and an option to reserve a seat on our U2 fan shuttle service taking attendees from the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Durham to the Sunday night festivities in Raleigh. After the movie and conversation, we'll be headed to the nearby Tir Na Nog Irish pub where you can wind down with fellow U2 fans and friends. The only costs for our event are your movie ticket for U2 3D and $25 for the shuttle service if you need it. We'll see you Sunday night! |
