U2 played Winnipeg Sunday night for the second time ever, following its previous appearance there on the PopMart Tour in 1997. Bono marked the occasion with a few tributes to the local music scene. He sang snippets from both Neil Young and Bachman Turner Overdrive during the show and, rather than a poem before "Beautiful Day," he has a fan read the lyrics to BTO's "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet." But "Moment of Surrender" is a late scratch, not performed possibly due to curfews.
