U2 Pasadena DVD Coming Soon?

Our friends at U2wanderer.org were first to notice, and since then others have emailed and asked on Twitter about a U2 Live From Pasadena DVD that's starting to show up in a few online stores. But the facts around it are all pretty suspicious, so I'd caution getting excited about it just yet.

There appears to be two versions of the DVD, but so far the main sources are lesser-known online stores in Japan, like this one and this one. The DVDs are not available on Amazon Japan nor HMV Japan, two sites that often list official Japanese releases before anyone else. You will find the two DVDs listed on the English-language site CD Universe (here and here), but those both appear to be Japanese imports. (The second one specifically says it's from Japan.)

The release date is also suspicious: The sites listing these DVDs say they're available on March 31st. You'd think that if U2 was actually releasing a concert DVD in the next 3-4 weeks, there'd be an official announcement by now, and the DVDs would show up on Amazon.com and other major online stores.
