"There is no in-between U2 songs. You either perform it completely and utterly, or you should stop performing it."

U2 will be featured via both song and interview in an upcoming documentary titled Music of Ireland - Welcome Home. Part one of the program will premiere in March on public TV stations in the U.S. There'll also be CD, DVD, and digital releases associated with the documentary.

U2, however, won't be featured until part two, which is due in "late 2010" according to the official announcement. Bono and Adam are interviewed for the program, and Bono features in a preview video on MusicOfIreland.com. There's also "never before seen" live footage; the producers tell @U2 it's an excerpt from U2's performance of the Gavin Friday song, "King of Trash," at last year's An Evening with Gavin Friday and Friends concert in New York City.

We'll keep you posted on when part two of Music of Ireland is airing. In the meantime, look for part one in March on your local public TV station.
