U2 Conference: Latest Updates re: Sessions, Registration and more
@U2,
March 15, 2013
We're less than six weeks away from the U2 Conference in Cleveland, and there are a few updates to be shared today about sessions, registration and more. Mainstream Sessions Our lineup of mainstream/popular sessions is now set! We'll have five sessions total: two on Friday, April 26 and three on Saturday, April 27th. The lineup is as follows: Friday, April 26
Saturday, April 27
See our U2 Conference page for more information about each session. That last session, "Stories for Boys & Girls," will offer conference attendees the chance to get together and talk about what U2's music has meant, how it's impacted lives, etc. It's open to anyone who wants to attend and listen in, but if you'd also like to get up and share a story during the session, we're asking you to use this form to let us know in advance. Two New Films The conference has added two U2-related films to the conference schedule. On Friday at 1:15 pm, U2 fan Natalie Baker will screen her documentary about U2 fandom called Meet Me In The Sound. On Saturday, also at 1:15 pm, tribute band Unforgettable Fire and director Michelle Regina Iacobelli will screen Unforgettable Fire: The Story of a U2 Tribute Band. Early Registration Extended This is more of a reminder, but the early registration discount has been extended until March 31st. This is because the conference organizers expect to have a couple more additions to the conference schedule, and it's only fair to extend the discount while the schedule is being finalized. So, registration will remain $249 through March 31st, then increase to $299 on April 1st.
