U2 Conference announces full presentation lineup

Plans for The Hype & The Feedback are rounding out. Conference organizers have today announced the full lineup of panels and speaker presentations that will be offered on October 3 and 4 in Durham. As you'd expect from an academic conference, there's some pretty heady titles, like "Botanizing on Asphalt: Representations of Laissez Faire Inherent in U2’s Music" and "When I Look At the World: Viewing the Impact of U2’s Music on Listeners’ Consciousness and Activism Through the Lens of Narrative Inquiry." There are also some ... how shall we say it? ... more understandable titles, such as "Uncertainty Can Be a Guiding Light: Why and How U2 Made Zooropa" and "U2: An Elevated Brand." Seems to me like there's plenty of good stuff for any U2 fan, so check it out and get yourself registered!
