U2 #7 on Forbes Celebrity List

Each year, Forbes magazine compiles a list of the 100 most powerful celebrities based on a combination of their pay, and their rankings on television/radio, socially, in the press and on the Web. In the list released today, U2 came in at no. 7, behind three other musical acts (Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears), one athlete (Tiger Woods), one film director (James Cameron) and one media mogul (Oprah Winfrey, who topped the list). U2's earnings are reported at 130 million, making them the third highest-paid celebrities listed. They also had a very high Web ranking, coming in at no. 11, behind younger stars such as Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga. To view all the details of U2's ranking, click here.
