Music Rising Goes National

The Edge announced today that Music Rising has donated $250,000 to a newly created national relief fund to assist school music programs impacted by Hurricane Sandy in the tri-state area (New Jersey, New York and Connecticut). Music Rising's expanded mission is designed to help any music program in the U.S. affected by a natural disaster. The announcement also states that "Music Rising is actively seeking support and endowments to continue its ongoing work of rebuilding music education programs as such needs arise."
