Bono to Appear on New Oprah Show

In a press release that was distributed today, Oprah Winfrey announced her plans to continue in the world of television after The Oprah Winfrey Show goes off the air next year. Projects in development include a variety of programs for her new cable network OWN. One of those shows is tentatively titled Oprah Presents:Master Class and will feature prominent artistic figures to "share their stories, insights and lives." Bono is listed as one of the subjects along with Simon Cowell, Toni Morrison and Lorne Michaels. The OWN network will launch on January 1, 2011, but there is no word yet on when this show will debut.
