Bono Talks, Jokes on Irish Radio

Some of the music news sites are reporting on what was an incredibly non-newsworthy Irish radio appearance that Bono made Sunday night. He and friend Guggi were guests on Amanda Brunker's new show on Sunshine 106.8 FM; the interview was taped last Thursday, December 27th. What's making the rounds online is Bono's joking comment that U2 might call the next album "10 Reasons To Exist." That's actually a line that Bono has been using for some time now when talking about U2's in-progress albums. In fact, all of Bono's comments last night about U2's next album echo what he said on RTE-TV about six months ago -- including the bit about how "U2's gotta do something very special to have a reason to exist right now." So, no, I'd say he was joking/repeating an old phrase in this radio interview, not revealing the actual working title of U2's next album.
