"People talk about U2 being a 'live group' . . . because Bono will jump off the balcony to make a point -- but it's not me at all, it's Larry's bass drum."

Bono Surprises Guests, Performers with a Song at Small NYC Bar

@U2, November 05, 2012
By: Matt McGee / @mattmcgee

Bono surprised the guests and performers inside Bemelman's Bar at The Carlyle Hotel last night in New York City when he joined in for a song ... or possibly more. According to Stephen Sorokoff, who was in the bar and taking photos of the Billy Stritch/Jim Caruso performance, Bono joined in on "Where Or When," a song from the old musical, Babes In Arms. But according to the Huffington Post, whose writer apparently spoke with Caruso, Bono helped sing "I've Got You Under My Skin."

So, who knows which report is correct ... or maybe both are correct and he did two songs? Either way, you can see two of Sorokoff's photos on BroadwayWorld.com.
