Bono Sings 'I've Got You Under My Skin' at Private Dublin EventEntire Band in Attendance
@U2,
December 18, 2012
Bono was on stage Saturday night in Dublin, and the whole band was in attendance, but it wasn't anything like a typical U2 performance. It happened during a private event where Dublin-based Jaime Nanci and The Blue Boys were performing. Bono got up and joined them in doing a jazzy version of "I've Got You Under My Skin," which you can see below.
Nanci tells us that Bono spent about two hours talking with him and the band and was "incredibly charming." It's not the only recent appearance involving some/all of U2. Last Thursday, Larry Mullen Jr. hung out with the current version of Thin Lizzy after watching their concert in Dublin. On either Friday or Saturday, Bono was spotted at the Horslips gig in Dublin'sOlympia Theatre. (It was probably Friday, since Bono's performance above was on Saturday.) On Sunday, both Bono and The Edge were seen at a Christmas party at Lillie's Bordello in Dublin. Those pics are with Irish model Sami Long. Even The Herald wrote a short news story about the party.
