Bono Guest of Honor at American Ireland Funds Gala

Each year the American Ireland Fund has an annual spring gala to benefit an area of need in the Irish community. This year, their guest of honor is Bono and one of their initiatives is to bring music education to Irish schoolchildren. Last year, U2 provided $7 million in funding to bring music education to Irish schools and pledged along with Ireland Funds to commit to $10 million.
