'Beautiful Day' Ranks 15th in VH-1 List
@U2,
September 29, 2011
U2's "Beautiful Day" has landed in the No. 15 spot on VH-1's latest list: "100 Greatest Songs of the '00s." That's the only U2 song on the list, which is topped by Beyoncé's "Crazy In Love." "Beautiful Day" is the second-highest rated rock song of the decade; Green Day's "American Idiot" came in at No. 13. Only one other rock song -- Coldplay's "Clocks" at 17 -- is in the Top 20. You can see the full list at EW.com, or watch the VH-1 special, which will air over five nights beginning this coming Monday, October 3rd.
