@U2 Vertigo's Eve Party
March 27, 2005, Hard Rock Cafe, San Diego, Calif.

'Twas the night before Vertigo, and all through San Diego land, @U2 celebrated the start of tour with a couple hundred great U2 fans!

Vertigo's Eve was a tremendous success by all accounts. The pre-tour party sold out in a matter of days and the 200+ U2 fans on hand at the Hard Rock Cafe were treated to a terrific show by The Joshua Tree, a terrific U2 tribute band from southern California.

The African Well Fund launched their "Build a Well for Bono's Birthday" fund raising drive, and we're incredibly proud to say that Vertigo's Eve raised $3,500 for the cause!
