U2
inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
March 14, 2005, in New York
U2 was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during
the annual ceremony at New York's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
Doing
the honors for U2 was Bruce Springsteen, who himself was
inducted by Bono in 1999. While the induction ceremony itself
was an invite-only
party, the Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland hosted a
viewing party where attendees could watch the entire, unedited
ceremony
on large screens at the museum.
@U2 had a team of reporters and photographers in both cities
to cover the events. Here's a recap of our coverage!
