SWINGING TO THE MUSIC - ST. LOUIS
November 21, 2004, Schlafly Bottleworks,
St. Louis, Missouri
U2
fans from across the midwest U.S. got together for a night
of music, fun, food, giveaways, and surprises at the Schlafly
Bottleworks in St. Louis for @U2 Swinging
To The Music! on November 21st. For some in the audience,
it was also their first chance to listen to U2's new album, How
to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, which was played with the
blessings of Interscope Records.
We were also joined by Aimee Powell, a representative of the African
Well Fund, a wonderful charity started by fellow U2 fans
that aims to help bring the gift of water to Africa. All
proceeds from the three Swinging To The
Music parties were earmarked for this wonderful charity!
Special thanks to the gang at Schlafly Bottleworks
... Matt at Interscope and everyone at Principle
Management for allowing it all to happen ... Fox
TV for covering the event for TV news ... Reiko, Ali, Lynn
and Michelle, and all the @U2 staffers who helped
plan and execute this fun night ... and all the U2 fans who
joined us!
