SWINGING TO THE MUSIC - SEATTLE
November 21, 2004, T.S. McHugh's,
Seattle, Wash.

About 75 U2 fans gathered for a night of music,
food, giveaways, and surprises at T.S. McHugh's restaurant
in Seattle for @U2 Swinging To The Music! on
November 21, 2004. For some in the audience, it was also their
first chance to listen to U2's new album, How to Dismantle
an Atomic Bomb, which was played with the blessings of
Interscope Records
Our special guests for the evening were Cindy Harris and Danielle
Rheaume, the two fans who
recently returned Bono's October lyrics and other personal
belongings to him in Portland! Cindy and Danielle told their
story to the U2 fans in attendance, took questions, and showed
a set of photos from their meeting with Bono last month.
We were also joined
by Ann Storey, a representative of the African
Well Fund, a wonderful charity started by fellow U2
fans that aims to help bring the gift of water to Africa.
All
proceeds from the three Swinging To
The Music parties were earmarked for this wonderful
charity!
Special thanks to Tom, Doug, and everyone at T.S. McHugh's
... Cindy and Danielle for joining us and sharing their stories
and photos ...
Matt at Interscope
and everyone at Principle Management for allowing
it all to happen ... Teresa C., Tassoula K., and all the @U2
staffers who helped plan and execute this fun night ... and
all the U2 fans who joined us!
