U2 Events: Boston - @u2 Swinging to the Music

@U2 SWINGING TO THE MUSIC - BOSTON
November 21, 2004, Hard Rock Cafe, Boston, Mass.

More than 200 U2 fans gathered for a night of live music, food, giveaways, and surprises at the Boston Hard Rock Cafe for @U2 Swinging To The Music! on November 21, 2004. For some in the audience, it was also their first chance to listen to U2's new album, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, which was played with the blessings of Interscope Records

Our special guest for the evening was The Joshua Tree Band who performed two sets live from the HRC stage! We were also joined by representatives from Universal/Interscope Records, and the African Well Fund, a wonderful charity started by fellow U2 fans that aims to help bring the gift of water to Africa. All proceeds from the three Swinging To The Music parties were earmarked for this wonderful charity!

Special thanks to Louis Lacman and everyone at the HRC Boston ... The Joshua Tree Band, who graciously donated their services for the evening ... Meg and Greg at Universal for donating posters, stickers and the album for the event ... Matt at Interscope and everyone at Principle Management for allowing it all to happen ... Lynn at the Party Warehouse for donating balloons and glow necklaces ... and everyone else who helped make this a special night!
