2005 was a very special year for @U2, our staff, and perhaps most of all, the hundreds of thousands of U2 fans who visit this web site every month:

In 2005, @U2 celebrated its 10th year online!

In an era when U2 fan pages have come and gone by the hundreds (at least), we're proud to be the oldest regularly updated U2 fan site on the web!

@U2 was born on October 23, 1995, and we celebrated all year long with monthly giveaways and contests, as well as "Random Acts of @U2" -- unscheduled, "flash" giveaways with no advance warning. We also took a trip down memory lane, showing @U2's development over its first 10 years online.
